I have walked this road many times and you may wonder how a Greek Goddess came to be there. I am always on the lookout for truly powerful spiritual places since I left Mt Olympus. In another mortal life I was a kind of oracle/psychologist and one of my colleagues subsequently joined the Abbey. I didn’t know that until I visited. It was a wonderful reunion. I have stayed there a few times and each time its powerful presence ,their beautiful liturgy to say nothing of the silence, moves me and nourishes me.
Great to hear! It’s a beautiful place, would love to know which of the sisters is your friend, so many people I meet know them. Winam (see other post on this topic) and I visit at various times. She has taken some fantastic photos of the Abbey… MUCH better than my attempts!
